Anthony P. DellUniversita is a trial attorney who specializes in criminal defense and civil litigation. Anthony has a B.S. in Sports Information and a B.A. in English Literature from Ithaca College. He graduated at the top of his class from Hofstra University School of Law. Anthony was born in Manhattan, and as a young man moved to Long Island with his family. In addition to being a lifelong sports fan, Anthony was an all-state and an all-American wrestler, which he attributes to his intense and dedicated work ethic.
Anthony is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, as well as in the Federal Courts for the Eastern District of New York. Anthony has litigated matters all over the country pro hac vice, in New Jersey, Texas, California and Florida.
Anthony believes that there is no case too big and no case too small. He has litigated criminal matters ranging from traffic cases to felonies. His experience with civil litigation includes personal injuries such as motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites, as well as high-end commercial litigation involving multi-million dollar contract claims. Anthony was recently defense counsel on a Federal RICO fraud claim which was tried in the Southern District of Texas, Corpus Christi Division, which resulted in a dismissal against one of the primary defendants. As a practicing attorney and continuous student of law, Anthony attends seminars and stays current on the most recent case law.
