Mr. Alber’s law practice covers a wide variety of areas of law, including all aspects of residential and commercial real estate and corporate transactions. After graduating from Hofstra University School of Law with honors and distinction, Mr. Alber commenced the practice of law at the prominent Manhattan law firm of Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP, where he provided legal representation in commercial lending, real estate and corporate transactions. In January 2005, Mr. Alber founded the law firm of Alber & Lolisci, LLP (now known as the Alber Law Group, LLP) where he presently serves as chairman of the real estate law practice group. His day to day practice includes representing commercial and residential mortgage lenders, landlords, tenants, purchasers and sellers and a wide array of corporate clients in structured corporate contracts and contract negotiation. In the course of completing thousands of transactions, Mr. Alber has earned a strong reputation for his knowledge and has been hired as an expert in real estate litigation matters. He is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer for real estate professionals and prominent practitioner. In addition to his real estate practice, Mr. Alber serves as general counsel to several national and multinational corporate clients. Contract drafting, negotiating and deal structuring are hallmarks of Mr. Alber’s practice.
